Chinese dinner with the family always includes the dish Beef and Broccoli. Tender marinated beef with a hint of ginger and Gailan (Chinese Broccoli). For some reason today, it was exceptionally tender and tasty. I suspect its because I haven't eaten Asian food in over a month! Do you crave certain foods after travelling? For me, its Chinese food!

We had the opportunity to take the holiday home tour today at Pinewood Estate at Bok Tower Gardens in Central Florida. An annual event, this is the 25th year that volunteers decorate every room of the one-of-a-kind 1932 Mediterranean style home. The theme of this room is "Peacock Paradise". In Antigua, cruise ships dock right downtown, and the city is easily walkable! I, unfortunately, spent too much time in the sun the last few days, so I spent an hour walking the town and am spending the rest of the day onboard. Husband Ray, on the other hand, took a public bus to our usual spot > Turner Beach! Have you visited Antigua before? What's your favourite beach?

Our ship is in Barbados today, and we chose Carlisle Bay Beach as our destination for the day. Super soft sand and a gentle breeze. 5$ taxi each way, 15$ for two beach chairs and an umbrella plus free wifi. Not the most reliable signal, but we are supposed to be offline relaxing!
