Sometimes when you travel, you need a bit of the "usual" food cravings from home. After travelling through northern India and eating Indian cuisine for most of the journey we wanted something different and found it at Pizzaria Vaatika Cafe on the Ganges River at Assi Ghat in Varanasi. Very tasty veggie mushroom, onion, and garlic with a thin crisp crust. This totally hit the spot and was absolutely delicious

We went to Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur India to see Jal Mahal - the Water Palace (a palace with four floors submerged under water) but, it was this fishing boat that caught my eye and the lens of my camera 📷. It wasn't that the building wasn't beautiful; it was just that it didn't pique my interest or curiosity. Does this ever happen to you when you go to visit a popular tourist site?

This is the Flower Market in Varanasi India, where people go to buy floral garlands for their offerings. This, to me, is India - full of colour, fragrant scents, crowds, and noise. I took this photo from an upstairs roof/overlook but we did walk through the crowd with our guide Raju to feel the buzz and energy up close. (Tip: Watch you wallets if you venture in on your own)
